چکیده
Abstract In this study, the out-of-plane shear strength of hybrid cross-laminated timber (CLT) with outer layers hinoki (hinoki cypress, Chamaecyparis obtusa ) and inner sugi (Japanese cedar, Cryptomeria japonica is investigated for four different layer configurations. To investigate influence from rolling properties cross on CLT, stress analysis was conducted using analogy method. The nominal strength, maximum force divided by cross-section in 1.0–2.1 MPa range. Using method, modulus determined as 72.9 MPa, which comparable value obtained laminae previous study well confirmed strain measurements present study. magnitude 0.9–1.1 times average stress, negatively correlated strength. From regression line between layer, mean estimated to be 1.33 MPa.

متن کاملBending Properties of Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) with a 45° Alternating Layer Configuration
Bending tests were conducted with cross laminated timber (CLT) panels made using an alternating layer arrangement. Boards of Norway spruce were used to manufacture five-layer panels on an industrial CLT production line. In total, 20 samples were tested, consisting of two CLT configurations with 10 samples of each type: transverse layers at 45° and the conventional 90° arrangement. Sample dimens...
متن کاملHistamine antagonist Bepotastine suppresses nasal symptoms caused by Japanese cedar and cypress pollen exposure
Objective: To determine the efficacy of the antihistamine bepotastine on treating nasal symptoms in patients with Japanese cedar and cypress pollinosis, based on two previous studies that looked at bepotastine OD's inhibitory effect on symptom onset after exposure. Design and methods: Randomized double-blind placebo controlled, parallel study. Twenty-eight volunteers with Japanese cedar and cyp...
متن کاملRecognition of T cell epitopes unique to Cha o 2, the major allergen in Japanese cypress pollen, in allergic patients cross-reactive to Japanese cedar and Japanese cypress pollen.
BACKGROUND Pollens from species of the Cupressaceae family are one of the most important causes of respiratory allergies worldwide. Many patients with pollinosis have specific IgE to both allergens from Japanese cedar and Japanese cypress pollen. We set out to identify T cell epitopes in Cha o 2, the second major allergen of Japanese cypress pollen. METHODS T cell lines (TCL) and T cell clone...
